With the instrument cluster and centrally positioned display, you can quickly assimilate all the important vehicle information. The electric roller sunblind protects you from dazzling sunlight. The blind spot camera system helps you to maintain a good view of difficult-to-see areas around the vehicle, even when the roller blind is pulled down to the height of the exterior mirrors.
Clear and ergonomic.
Thanks to the clear displays and intuitive instruments, you quickly feel at home in the cockpit. The High Performance Engine Brake, for example, is easily activated using the right-hand multifunction lever. You can conveniently operate the radio, telephone and instrument cluster via the multifunction steering wheel. The control of the bodies can also be easily integrated into the cockpit, so that you can control important functions directly from the cab.
Room for productivity.
Whatever you plan to do with the Econic: its spacious cab offers you great freedom of movement and its sophisticated design ensures excellent working conditions. There is space for up to three front passengers next to you, depending on the intended use. Ideal for frequent stops: when pulling away, the folding door on the front passenger side closes automatically. Depending on the field of operation, a hinged door can alternatively be installed.
Space for everything.
Two lockable stowage compartments provide you and your crew with sufficient storage space. Additional stowage compartments, bottle and cup holders in the instrument panel can also be used for storing personal items or tools.
Keep it safe.
The new electronic parking brake with Hold function combines easier handling, more comfort and greater safety: if you set the transmission to “D” or “R” when pulling away, it is automatically released. When you switch the ignition lock to the “OFF” position, it is locked again.

You get full performance as economically as possible – no matter where you use your Econic: thanks to the innovative diesel engines, you are economical and efficient on the road.

With the standard BlueTec 6 diesel engine and innovative catalytic converter technology, you reduce emissions of particulate matter and nitrogen oxides. The efficient engines provide high torque even at low engine speeds. On the road, the Allison 6-speed automatic transmission takes the strain off you with its intuitive shifting logic, which works wear-free and allows you to pull away with precision. The transmission is weight-reduced and has 12 forward and 4 reverse gears. This means you get full performance in urban traffic and are economically well positioned.
